Therapy or Coaching: What’s the Difference?

Think of life as a mountain you’re preparing to climb.

Therapy can help you understand what may be making the climb difficult. It provides a space to explore emotions, experiences, relationships, and patterns that may be holding you back—and to better understand the “why” behind them.

Coaching is like having a guide alongside you. If you’re ready to move forward but want help clarifying goals, developing strategies, and staying accountable, coaching focuses on the “how”—turning goals into action.

Both can help you move forward; the best fit depends on where you are in your journey.
